Nepal is a wonderful country and if you want to explore it these are the guys to help you do it . This year they organised a complicated trip both trekking to Khopra Danda and Mohare Danda then flights to Pokhara and onward to Nepalgunj and to Bardya National Park. We had to make lots of changes both up the mountain and with activities die to flight delays etc . This is where these guys are great they are flexible and always coming up with solutions to problems beyond their control and they looked after me as a solo traveller like I was one of their family. They have also helped me greatly in Kathmandu and Pokhara with last minute side trips and buying gifts etc. I cannot recommend these people more highly. Rajesh is my friend now and I trek with the same guide Prakash who is excellent and use the same family as Porters. If you want to really experience Nepal and be sure that if you have any issues , with weather , transport , mountain conditions etc then these are the guys to use . please please don’t use an ( expensive ) international firm use a local firm that can tailor something specifically for you and your party if you are part of one. Undoubtedly the best in Nepal who offer you a completely bespoke service that suits you at a far keener price than you get by booking internationally where most of the money leaves the country.

I completed the Tsum Valley and Manaslu trek back in 2017 and had a great experience with Nepal Trekking Experts who organised the trek. 5 Years later and I returned to Nepal looking to complete another trek. I looked no further than Nepal Trekking Experts and the ever enthusiastic and helpful Rajesh and eventually decided upon the Kanchenjunga Circuit trek, visiting North and South base camps. Rajesh always responded quickly to emails and is a mine of information on trekking in Nepal. Rajesh did warn us that the original return flight date from Bhadrapur to Kathmandu may need to be rescheduled due to the general election on the 20th November and provided various options for amending the trek accordingly. Three of us set off with our guide Ram and proceeded as scheduled from Taplejung for the first 2 days. Then, one of the group had to drop out due to an injury, but his repatriation to Kathmandu was expertly handled by Rajesh and Ram and the remaining two of us were able to continue as scheduled. Early on in the trek, Ram also discussed with us the options for picking up a day to account for the general election and we were able amend the itinerary to take account of this. Ram really showed himself to be an excellent guide and also a great human being. He has a very detailed knowledge of the area and was happy to share his knowledge with other guides and trekkers who lacked such expertise. One particular highlight was attending an early morning puja ceremony in Phale and visiting the wonderful Phale monastery. This would not have been possible without Ram and most other trekkers missed out on this experience. Another suggestion from Ram was to hike to Oktang from Cheram and return to Cheram on the same day rather than spending a very cold night in a very basic lodge in Ramche. This was definitely the correct decision for us because not only did we visit Oktang, but the descent to Tortong the following day was made much shorter. During the trek, I mentioned to Ram about rescheduling the return flight to Kathmandu and he told me that Rajesh had already rebooked the flights for the 19th as a result of all domestic flights being cancelled on the 20th. This is typical of Nepal Trekking Experts who are able to resolve any issues before questions are even asked! I would very much recommend using the services of Nepal Trekking Experts for organising any treks or other activities. Rajesh is trustworthy and extremely well informed and will give you very good advice depending upon your interests and abilities. Ram is a superb guide who made the trek so very special.

In November 2022 me and my girlfriend did the Langtang valley track. Including Kyanjing Ri Lower Peak, Kyanjing Ri Upper Peak and Tsergo Ri. It was an amazing experience. First we visited the office and mister Rajesh brainstormed with us about the trip we wanted to do. He gave good advice and made a plan that suited our ambitions, experience and abilities. It was so nice that he arranged hiking poles, sleeping bags and down jackets we could lent for free. Rajesh connected us with a great guide named Soti. Soti has an uplifting spirit and is an endless source of positivity. When down or in self doubt during a challenging hike, Soti can boost your energy and make you believe in yourself. Soti is a caring person who looks after you. He makes your trip safe, fun and care free. Along with us came a porter named Dadzu. He carried half of our luggage. That was very pleasant on the sometimes challenging trail. Dadzu was not only a porter. He was the back up plan and the friend that catches you when you fall.

My boyfriend and I recently completed a 3 day trek with Nepal Trekking expert to Chisapani and Nagarkot. Rajesh was super helpful in helping to organise and book this trip for us as well as really professional. The night before the trek we were invited to his office to have a briefing on the trek, what to expect and what to bring and to meet our lovely guide Dinesh. We really appreciated this, and having spoke to other people not every company does this! We had such a great time on the trek, everything was well explained and organised. Dinesh was a fantastic guide, not only was he really knowledgeable on the area and the mountains, answering all our questions, he also made us feel really comfortable and we had fun at the same time! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again with Nepal Trekking experts and especially with Dinesh as our guide and I will recommend to others too!

I choose to do the Langtang Gosiaikunda Trek from mid-August to the end of August. This time is not known as the peak season due to the rains, and that led me to be quite apprehensive about the trek. However, I decided to find an agency where I could get a guide and I could not be happier having chosen Nepal Trekking Experts. Rajesh was truly welcoming, he helped me with the logistics of the trek, which can be quite a hassle when it is your first time in Nepal. This enabled me to simply just focus of the incredible landscapes and experience you have when being in Nepal. Rajesh was an honest host and I truly appreciated that. Binod was my guide for the trek. It was rather incredible seeing how knowledgable the guides are about the surrounding landscapes and mountains ( which I happen to be very fond of). He took exceptional care of me and always called me his 'bahini' meaning little sister - which only goes to show the familial hospitality you'll receive by choosing this incredible team. I have no doubt that which ever trek you choose, you'll be in knowledgable and safe hands with Nepal trekking experts. Happy trekking!

I have done with Nepal Trekking Experts two treks. In November 2018 Manaslu trek with my father and in April 2022 Gokyo Ri trek with my wife. We had such a great time and it was mainly thanks to great guiding and services provided by Rajesh and his team. The approach to their customers from the first meeting in Kathmandu till the end of the trek is outstanding. No other words needed. Special thanks to Binod and Ram for Manaslu trek and Rabin and Kisur for Gokyo Ri trek.

We had an amazing experience with Nepal Trekking Experts. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and kind - three characteristics you want to see in such an organization. We strolled in on Sunday evening (without an appointment and during peak season) and on Tuesday morning we left.

Rajesh - the owner of the organization - is an extremely good host and makes you feel right at home (as you'll read from the other reviews as well). We planned on talking with at least 2 or 3 different guiding organizations, but after our initial talk with Rajesh we basically immediately decided to go with this organization, because we couldn't imagine any other company providing better service. From the other tourists and guides we met along the way that certainly proved right.

We did Manaslu+Tsum valley trek. Resham - our guide - was caring and knew the mountains like the back of his hand. He is local to Manaslu region and seemed to know every person we met during those two weeks. He even helped out other hikers that fell ill and felt compelled to make sure everyone had a good time and made it down safely instead of just our little group of two. A kind and caring soul.

I don't have anything to compare Nepal Trekking Experts to, but do you most certainly won't be disappointed. Just swing by the office, drink a cup of tea and you'll understand what I - and all other reviewers - mean. Happy trekking!
