Manaslu circuit via Barpak
Our group from Belarus consisting of seven people passed the route Manaslu Circuit Trek. It was an unforgettable event. The route is difficult and extremely beautiful! On the morning of October 2, we left a jeep from a hotel to Kathmandu to Barpak, from where the next morning we set off on a wonderful foot journey. On the way, we were accompanied by a guide Kumar and porters Resham and Ramhari. Each day's transition, one of them walked ahead of the group, the other in the middle, and the third closed it, not disregarding any of the participants, no matter how slowly or quickly he moved. They booked places for us to sleep, ordered food, served on the table, cleared the table, provided us with everything we needed along the route. In the days we spent together, we became one family with our Nepali guides. After the end of the walking part of our trip in the village of Dharapani, October 14, we went to Pokhara, and then on October 17 - in Chitwan. Special thanks to the head of the company Nepal Trekking Experts Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Rajesh for the precise organization of our entire journey. He provided us with not only excellent specialists for trekking, but also planned in advance, booked and paid for all our transfers and hotels both before and after tracking, as well as paragliding in Pokhara. We were all pleasantly surprised by the attitude of the whole Nepal Trekking Experts Pvt team to our work. Ltd. Very grateful to all the guys. Definitely recommend.
NikolaiBelarusOct 24, 2018Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek with Nepal trekking Experts
We are a family of 5 and Could not rate these guys highly enough. Rajesh is a great communicator and goes beyond what is expected to make sure your trip goes smoothly. From Rajesh organising our trip, waiting At the airport for nearly two hours to welcome us into Nepal to taking us out to dinner and finally making sure we were safely back on the plane to go home once our Trek was over. Bikram our fantastic Guide would have to be one of the most experienced guides on Manaslu. We had no problems on our 3 week Trek but if anything had happened you knew that Bikram would handle it. He was lovely with the kids. Our two porters were also marvellous. Gautam who is a character would run ahead in the morning and make sure we got good rooms in a good tea house. In his pare time he was giving locals hair cuts, fixing electrical problems, teaching the kids new card games, he is a man of many talents. Finally the prices nepaltrekkingexperts charge for the Trek is very very good! There are a lot of costs including very high prices for meals as you become more remote. All your trekking permits, meals, transport your guide and porters etc are included in the price. If you want a quality experience don’t go looking for a bargain. At the end of the trip my husband and I thought we should have paid more than we did for our Trek. Finally take cards on your trek and tip your guide and porters well, they deserve it. Cheers Helen, Tim, Solita, Ben and Inti
Helen CallaghanAustraliaOct 20, 2018Everest 3 Passes with Nepal Trekking Experts - an amazing experience and adventure!
In September, I went to the Everest Three Passes Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts and my senior guide Bikram. To start with, from arriving at the airport in Kathmandu to dropping me off at the airport after the trek, I was delighted with Rajesh and his staff's superior service. Rajesh picked me up from the airport punctually and reliably. He welcomed me very warmly, so that I immediately felt comfortable. This feeling has continued over the next 2 days, when I was able to benefit from his real all-inclusive service. Everything necessary was perfectly organized in advance (pre-meeting, clearing up all questions, sleeping bag, duffel bag and including a sightseeing day in Kathmandu with a private driver and my guide because we could not fly to Lukla on the first scheduled day). To accompany me on my trek I got one of the most experienced guides of the agency, Bikram. Together with Sujit as a carrier we have formed a great trio. The trek itself was a unique experience and adventure. I highly recommend this route, which explores the entire Khumbu region. Passing the passes is challenging, but feasible for fit people. My guide Bikram has almost 20 years of trekking experience. He has a great knowledge of the country, people and culture and knows his way around the region perfectly. Together with my carrier, Bikram took perfect care of me, my well-being and also my health. Bikram picks out the best lodges and offers an all-round service for everything you need on the mountain. At any time I felt in good hands. In comparison to some other guides, I felt a clear class difference in terms of knowledge and experience, and I am glad that Rajesh has put one of his most experienced guides to my side. So I could not only enjoy the trek completely carefree, but also learned a lot about the country, people and culture. However, what I would like to add at this point: If you are looking for a pure entertainer as a guide, Bikram might not be the best choice, as he is a rather quiet, relaxing contemporary with a highly professional attitude towards all important things (in my opinion much more crucial and valuable). The weather in september was good, but not very good. The first week was much better than week two (though I would have expected this more otherwise). Good means, that in week one nice weather prevailed until about 11 o'clock, then many clouds drove into the valleys. In week one it rained only from the evening and at night, so this was no problem at all. In week 2, however, we had mostly only in the first two hours of the morning really good sky blue weather, then again and again it pulled very strong clouds and fog, so we were hiking the last 4 days in often miserable view for the majority of the day. For me this is an extremely crucial point as walking 2/3 of the day in fog isn’t what you are looking for when trekking in the Everest Region. Nevertheless, we had many magical and dreamlike moments and views of the 8,000m peaks around Everest, Lhotse and Manaslu. In addition, fantastic views of the beautiful mountains such as Ama Dablam, Pumori, Cholatse, Lobuche and many more. Going in pre-seasion has its advantages to really enjoy the nature and the area on many empty paths. For example, we were almost alone when we reached the EBC. Very beautiful! In my opinion trekking in the pre-season has its pros and cons and you have balance what is most important to you. Next time I'll take the hustle and bustle of the main season in order to have much better weather. Point # 2 (which I do really criticize, but I where I had more hopes): I first contacted Nepal Trekking Experts in December 2017. I, as a solo trekker, quickly chose the Everest Three Passes Trek as the route that suits me best. From the beginning I said that I would like to go with other trekkers in a small group for more fun, group interaction and many shared experiences. At the time Rajesh sounded that it will be very likely to find more trekkers, even though it's early in the season (same I heard from other trekkers who ended up going solo). Unfortunately up to my start no other trekker could be found. It is important to know that at the beginning of the season you have to be lucky enough to find like-minded trekkers, as there are not that many on the way. This is especially true for the Everest Three Passes, which is still very empty except for the EBC Trail section). Meaning, if going solo is no option for you, you have to either look for other travelers from the beginning or have some luck on the trek (which was the case for me for 2/3 of the time!). I just want to state that you cannot count on more trekkers joining your self-booked route. This is probably also due to the incredible number of available agencies which offer the same trekking routes. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts and their offer 100%! Service, organization and the performance of all people involved, the value you get for your money is outstanding and is a clear USP in this highly competitive market. This also applies to Bikram as an incredibly experienced and professional guide! So if you are looking for a perfect well-rounded all-inclusive Trekking Agency, go with Nepal Trekking Experts! I am happy to have been traveling with them and look forward to next time!
Kai BusselmannGermanySep 30, 2018Fantastic Trek
We felt very well taken care of by Nepal Trekking Experts. Rajesh was in constant email communication before the trek. He met us at the airport (and we had a quite delayed flight and came in late at night). He answered all of our questions very promptly. He met us at our hotel and we walked to his office. He also brought our guide to meet us the day before the trek. After the trek Rajesh took us to dinner. We had Gakul as our porter and we couldn't have been happier with him. He was constantly cheerful and upbeat and always ready to help us over a tricky section of trail. Binod was our guide and he worked very hard to take care of our needs. He would choose rooms in the tea houses he felt would be most suitable. He constantly checked to see how we were doing. We had fun playing a Nepalese card game in the evenings with Binod and Gakul (and other trekkers). The trek was fantastic (though challenging for us) and we were happy with doing it in May when there were fewer tourists. I completely recommend Nepal Trekking Experts and Rajesh to help plan your trek. Rajesh's generosity with his time was greatly appreciated.

My friend and I booked the Manaslu Circuit in early May with Nepal Trekking Experts and had an unbelievable time! Rajesh, the owner, is a great person and we loved sitting down and getting to know him and his country before and after our trek. Overall he runs a professional and reasonably priced company that works incredibly hard to make sure you are safe, healthy, and happy. He answered my emails promptly and had very helpful information. We got to meet with Rajesh twice before our trek, once to confirm everything and a second time to just talk and meet our guide, Kedar, beforehand which we were happy about. We would recommend trekking with Kedar if you can as well. He has 23 years of experience as a guide and has now done the Manaslu Circuit 4 times. He was very knowledgeable, even knowing what breakfast was the best to order in which tea houses and worked extremely hard to keep us happy and healthy, especially when I was not feeling good because of the altitude. Our porter Thakur was also wonderful and we have great memories of sitting around with Kedar and Thakur playing Dhumbal, a local card game. Our guide Kedar called Rajesh in Kathmandu every day before we woke up to get a weather forecast update to plan our day and upcoming ones accordingly. Our guide and porter went into the kitchens to make sure what we were eating wasn't going to get us sick(a common concern when trekking in Nepal) and even filled our water bottles up out of the spout everyday for us. I would definitely recommend booking with Nepal trekking experts as they pay attention to the details.
ShannonUnited StatesMay 19, 2018The real Trekking Experts in Nepal
Rajesh is the very friendly, competent and reliable head of Nepal Trekking Experts. His warm welcome gave us an immediate feeling that we are with friends. His information are based on his own trip experiences in all regions in Nepal. Our Poon Hill Trek was short but amazing. Our guide Raj is a courteous, highly experienced, friendly, helpful, very informative, competent and always car taking fellow. In regards of some special variations during the trek he was always open minded and satisfied our wishes. All before mentioned are the reasons that we booked immediately another trek - that time in the Eastern part of Nepal.
ThomasGermanyMay 11, 2018Excellent trekking experience on Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley
I cannot compliment Rajesh and his team enough. I arranged my trek at short notice and was not sure that I was prepared. Rajesh was very supportive in the run up - offering advice on what to bring and setting aside time on my arrival to help me buy some trekking items in Kathmandu. I was met at the airport, even though my flight was 3 hours delayed and Rajesh took time to explain everything and to help me get organised before the trek started. Our guide, Bikram, for the trek was excellent. Completely professional, really knowledgeable on pretty much everything, easy to talk to and very safety aware. It's important to know that in Tsum valley and some of the tea houses on Manaslu, the cooking is not always ideal and the guides need to help out in the kitchens to make sure that food is prepared properly and noone gets sick. We were extra lucky with Bikram because he was also an excellent cook - often preparing meals himself. At every meal stop he would disappear into the kitchen, sleeves rolled up, chopping veg and helping out the cooks. We ate VERY well on this trek. There were a few challenging areas on the trekking route, including some landslide affected areas and high altitude - Bikram took time each night to explain what to expect each day and how to get through safely. He was careful to walk with everyone in the group throughout the day to make sure we were all doing ok. Some of our group opted for a shared porter and this was a really good decision. One porter, in particular, Ram, was like having an assistant guide and a good friend. His humour, card playing, singing, conversation and ad hoc Nepalese lessons got me through some of the tougher days on the trek and made the long evenings shorter. He came with our group even on the acclimatization days when the other porters were resting - just in case someone in the group got tired and needed to turn back early. Between Bikram and Ram I always felt completely safe on the trek and looked forward to each day. I would not hesitate to take another trek with the same team or to recommend to a friend.
