Nepal Trekking Experts did an excellent job organizing our Kanchenjunga trek in Oct 2020. Rajesh and his team tackled the complicated permit process during the COVID lock down and made it possible for us to go on a trek. The guiding service provided by Nepal Trekking Experts was excellent and we have benefited greatly from the guide's intricate knowledge of the Kanchenjunga area. The trek was a memorable experience that we will remember for a long time! We highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts for everyone's trekking needs since it is a reliable and well run agency in Nepal.

We were desperate to see the world's tallest mountain Everest and also looking for a less explored and less crowded trekking route in Nepal. Fortunately we found Nepal Trekking experts recommended by our close friends and booked the Pikey Peak trek without any hesitation. And of course it turned to the perfect decision. The agency owner Rajesh and his team were brilliant from the beginning of our arrival to the end of the trip. We have travelled to many countries in the world and ever had such an experience so far. The greenery, landscape, Tibetan culture and stunning Himalaya surroundings(Everest) were just fantastic. For sure you will never ever regret taking their service for your upcoming holidays which I can not recommend highly enough. We will definitely book our next trip with you guys soon!

An absolutely fabulous and unforgettable trip. The weather was perfect for our helicopter ride to see Everest and base camp and the tour round Kathmandu was fascinating, guide knew his history. The trek on the second day was tiring and long but was worth it. Everything was well organised and very friendly guides. Can’t recommend this company enough

In Feb 2020 I did the Everest base camp trek with Nepal Trekking Experts. I reached out to the company and from the moment of the first enquiry to leaving the country I was fully satisfied with my experience. All correspondence was completely professional and I always felt like I was in safe hands. My guide was Binod, and he was extremely friendly and helpful to me in all manners, whether encouraging me in difficult parts of the trek or helping to order dinner. When I started to suffer from altitude sickness, he made professional and educated decisions to help combat the effects and make it to the base camp.

After the trek I booked a safari trip to Chitwan National Park, which was also excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The head of the company; Rajesh, always stayed in contact with me to ask me how my trip was going when I was away from Kathmandu, which I thought was excellent. Overall, I can't recommend this trekking company enough.

My partner and I just completed the Nar Phu Valley trek with Nepal Trekking Experts and we can say without a doubt that they helped make our trip the amazing experience that it was. Our only regret is that we didn't do a longer trek haha! From the very beginning of communication, Rajesh made sure that we were taken care of before we even got to Nepal, coordinating everything with us so that we would set when we arrived and after the trek was over. He made us feel extremely welcomed and made sure that we felt prepared before the trek began.

We cannot say enough about our guide, Mohan and our porter, Gautam. They were absolutely phenomenal. The trek was not an easy one with long days and steep climbs but these guys took such good care of us and made every hiking day so much fun that we could forget about the difficulty. You spend a lot of time with your guide and porter on treks like this that are so remote so its important that you can have a good and fun time with them - and we definitely did! Aside from how much fun they were - Mohan was extremely professional and it was extremely obvious that he knew what he was doing. Also when my boyfriend started showing signs of altitude sickness, Mohan took care of the situation so that everyone would be safe, happy and set up for success in the days to follow - which we were! When we come back to Nepal one day we are definitely asking for Mohan and Gautam again :P

Had a wonderful experience with Nepal Trekking Experts. We'd never hired a guiding service before, usually preferring to explore on our own, and were a bit concerned that it might be an awkward, or uncomfortable experience having both a guide and porter helping us out. Turns out our concerns were completely unwarranted.

Rabin and Gautam were wonderful companions on a trek that finished in rather ... interesting ways. We chose to do the Khopra Trek because it was a 'less travelled' route into the Annapurna Sanctuary. When we reached the high point of our trek, five days in at Khopra Danda, we got the news that many countries were starting to close their borders due to the coronavirus, and if we didn't get to Kathmandu asap we might not be able to leave Nepal. In difficult hiking conditions (snow & ice at Khopra Danda and a steady rain in lower elevations), Rabin and Gautam brought us safely into Kathmandu in two days!! This entailed a 10K foot descent on foot followed by a 5 hour taxi ride on the first day, and a 7 hour bus ride into Kathmandu on the second. Unfortunately, we were still unable to get a flight out of Nepal before the airport shut down, and Kathmandu went under a strict shelter in place order.

During the time we were sheltering in place in Kathmandu, Nepal Trekking Experts found us a wonderful hotel to stay at, and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We were able to get seats on a flight chartered by the US Embassy back to the USA a week and a half later, and Rabin even checked in with us after we landed to make sure we made it back to the US safely!!

All of this was well above and beyond the call of duty for a trekking company. We will be forever grateful to the boys at Nepal Trekking Experts for the extra efforts they made to see to our safely, both during and after our trek, in what were obviously very, very challenging times for them and the people of Nepal. Thank you! We hope things return to normal very soon for fine businesses like Nepal Trekking Experts!!

Me and my friend we had the most best experiences it take 7 days to reach the summit even it was middle of winter our guide MR. Gautam Neupane he managed to make it easier and know Exactly our fitness level and needs with fully satisfied also, the office manager he kept following up with us to insure that we are safe and happy.

What a tremendous experience with Nepal Trekking Experts! From the first communication to the last they handled everything promptly and professionally. Rajesh was very informative when we were first looking into trekking the Manasalu region. He answered any and all questions over email. It was clear early in our trekking company search that we wanted to go with him and his team.

Upon arrival at the airport in Kathmandu we met our guide, Thakur. He was by our side for the rest of the trip! Thakur was an amazing guide in Kathmandu as well as out on the trail. He has such deep knowledge of the culture, flora, and fauna of the region. He was incredibly thoughtful when briefing us on what each day would hold. So wise! You could tell that he and the company were well known and connected in the villages along the trail.

Our trek was in early March 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic was beginning to spread globally. Once we began our trek, there were plenty of rumors on the trail about travel restrictions and our status as foreigners eventually needing to get back to the USA. Thakur did a great job making us feel calm and at ease considering the developing situation globally. He was in constant contact with Rajesh and in tune with all updates and guidance from the Nepali government. I can’t say enough about how experienced and professional Rajesh and Thakur were at every step of the adventure. They made us feel at ease even among the chaos of traveling in the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic.

I would absolutely recommend going with Nepal Trekking Experts. I hope to someday return to Nepal and spend more time on the trail with Thakur! Thank you, Nepal Trekking Experts!
