We were a group of 4 here in Nepal for the first time. We are trying to do the Annapurna Circuit trek and I contacted Rajesh. He was very helpful and prompt with the responses and very amenable to our requests. The guide, Kedar, and two porters, Kumar and Reesom, were an amazing team. They really took great care of us during the entire trip. Kedar was funny and friendly and we became very close to him and the rest of the team. We make sure we have our food first before they eat themselves, they make sure we have everything we need, taking care to check the rooms before we leave to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. We played cards while resting in the hotels. When one member of our group was having trouble going up to Thorong La, Kumar was very very helpful by carrying his pack for him, walking closely behind him to make sure he is okay. When we had extra days because we were ahead of schedule, Kedar was very good and flexible and brought us to places that were not in our original itinerary. We were able to check out Ghorepani and Poon Hill because of this. We really enjoyed their company and their attention for our well being. I would highly recommend Kedar our guide, Kumar and Reesom our porters, and the company run by Rajesh.

Two friends and I were doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek and from home we were recommended to trek with Rabin. We talked a lot with Rabin over e-mail before we actually went to Nepal, and he was more than willing to answer all of our questions and to give us the information that we needed. When we arrived in Kathmandu airport Rabin were there to pick us up, and he took us to a nice hotel in the city. During the trek Rabin has been extremely helpful whenever we needed something or asked for something, patient, funny, and good at telling us about the trek we were doing. I don't think that we could ever have wished for a better guide than Rabin, and we miss him now that we don't see him every day. Later on we did a shorter (3 days) trek in the Kathmandu Valley with another guide named Bhoj. Bhoj was also a very talented guide, and like Rabin, very good at English. Bhoj knew a lot about all the nature that we walked past, and he was good at making us try some locale wine and fruits while doing the trek. All in all we had an amazing experience with Nepal Trekking Experts, and I would definitely recommend them!

I started chatting with Rajesh through Facebook and he came across as very customer-centric and trustworthy. He never assumed or pressured me into getting anything - instead always clarifying and asking me very detailed questions. I felt that his quote was very reasonable as well. It is also to be noted that he has a true passion for trekking in the Manaslu Region. We arrived in KTM pretty late into the night but he still provided a pretty comfortable ride to our hotel. The next day, he briefed us on how our trek would go, in lots of detail. He helped us with getting our gear and getting our NPRs as well. Our guide for the trek was Thakur (Dandapani) Neupane, whom I felt was kind and amicable. He was kind enough to let us stay at his home in a village near Arkhet Bazaar. He took very good care us throughout the whole trip. Thakur also assisted us in navigating some dangerous areas during the trek. In short, it was a great experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to anyone wanting to go on a guided trekking trip in Nepal.

I trekked the Manaslu Circuit at the end of February 2018 as a couple with Rabin as a guide. We had a really great experience. The organisation was perfect from the beginning to end. Rajesh, who runs the office in Kathmandu, picked us up from the airport and brought us to our guesthouse. We felt welcome from the first moments in Nepal. Rajesh explained everything to us, took take the necessary permits, helped us with shopping in Kathmandu and even organized the transport of our luggage from Kathamandu to Pokahara (where we ended our trek). Rabin was a perfect guide. Nice, calm, good english and knows the area by heart. We even stayed at this family place the first night of the trek, which was a great experience. The price for the trek is also reasonable. Overall, I can highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts and especially Rabin as a guide!

Rajesh is incredibly personable, fit, and knowledgeable about Nepal's mountains. He accompanied 2 of my friends and me on a perfect day hike at Nagarkot to Changunarayan on the outskirts of Kathmandu. This steep but non-technical hike took us 4 hours and we were rewarded with spectacular views of snowcapped Annapurna, LangTang, Everest and other 8000+ meter mountains at the top, where we feasted on wonderful Nepalese food and Khumbu Sherpa beer at a spectacular outdoor restaurant and explored a Hindu temple. Rajesh even brought great apple wine that we thoroughly enjoyed and, best, of all! This is a great hike for those with limited time in Nepal. I plan to trek around Pokhara with Rajesh on my next trip to Nepal for sure.

I wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts. I completed a 15-day trek in mid-November 2017 with Nepal Trekking Experts and had an incredible and rewarding experience. When I originally searched for a trekking company, I emailed five different companies, only two of which responded. Rajesh was by far the most responsive and helpful of the two—the choice was obvious almost immediately. HIs support after my arrival in Kathmandu and at the end of the trek were fantastic (airport transportation, dinner at a local restaurant, walking tour of Thamel). My guide (Bikram) and porter (Rijan) were excellent as well. I am incredibly grateful for their support—they were excellent travel companions. Bikram kept me on track (starting with my arrival in Kathmandu), safe and informed, and he was always available when needed. Rijan was always where we needed him—he and Bikram were a great team. Also, Bikram's planning was outstanding. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

Dos años después de hacer con Raj el EBC y los tres pasos volví nuevamente con el para subir el Mera Peak. Ni se me ocurrió buscar otra agencia: no era necesario, con Raj estaba en buenas manos. Al igual que dos años antes todo fue perfecto: disfrute del trek, del día de aproximación al campo de altura, de la subida nocturna a la cima, del berrido que pegue cuando hice cumbre, de los momentos de sufrimiento y de los que fueron relativamente suaves... Porque los que subimos montañas sabemos lo que se sufre haciéndolo y también disfrutamos con ello. Y por supuesto igualmente disfrute tomando una cerveza con Raj en su oficina celebrando que lo había conseguido. Algo que como ya he comentado valoro sobremanera: Raj es un profesional serio en cuanto a la gestión del trek se refiere, pero después es una persona con quien tomarse una cerveza y brindar por todo lo brindable. Gracias Raj, volveré...

This was my third trip to Nepal, having done multi day organized treks in Patagonia, Peru and Europe. I have never experience a level of professionalism and a quality of service like the one from Trekking Nepal Experts. We have just returned from a 15 day trek in the Tsum Valley and Manaslu region organized by this company and we could not be happier. It exceeded our expectations by a hundred times. Last year, in 2016 my husband and I trekked the Manaslu Circut with another company (one of the top rated by Trip Advisor). Midway we intersected with a group led by Raj, the owner of the Nepal Trekking Experts . We hiked along with his group for a few days and the contrast, on every level, was striking. So when we decided to return it was an easy choice who to work with. Raj is a native to Manaslu region and hires local guides and porters. As a result you are guided by someone who REALLY knows the area. We did many 'off the beaten path' side trips on our trek. Our guide was really flexible and we modified our itinerary multiple times. The highlight of our trip was hiking up to Ganesh Himal base camp and spending two nights at a nunnery. We did not see another tourist during those three days. treking out we used less popular route to avoid repeating a part of the trek (owners sugestion) we did the year before. Although this was logistically much harder to organize the cost of the trip didn't change, Raj just wanted us to have a better experience, and I think that it captures what this company is all about: making sure that you have the best possible time on your trek! The whole experience was unreal. The owner, Raj manages to blend genuine warmth and friendliness with constant awareness and attention to every detail.
