We just completed the 17 Manaslu Circuit Trek and would highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts! I read reviews from over 50 trekking companies and narrowed it down to 10 companies based on value (positive reviews and decent pricing). From those 10 companies I emailed questions and Rajesh from Nepal Trekking Experts was always the first to respond (usually within an hour) with detailed and informative answers. So we.decided to use them. This was a turnkey trek professionally and thoroughly organized by Rajesh. Everything he promised was true: We were greeted at the airport and taken to a very nice hotel, treated to an upscale dinner with live entertainment, provided quality gear, accompanied by our guide and porter during the bus/Jeep riides and through the entire trek, provided with the best tea houses, ordered anything off the tea house menus, transferred to the airport at the end.

The guide and porter are perhaps the most important aspect of the trek since you will be spending days or weeks with them. Our guide, Rajan had the biggest heart with a warm personality. He was so friendly and accommodating. My friend had difficulty with the steep sections so Rajan carried his pack in addition to the weight he was already carrying. He was very knowledgeable of the trails and area and got us to our destinations efficiently, while still being patient with our needed rests. He provided us with fresh fruit that he carried during the trek. He always had a smile and was willing to please.

Our porter, Gautan was incredible. I could not believe how much weight he could carry over the steep and uneven trails. He was super human with a great attitude. He too spoke English and provided information which gave us a similar experience of a second guide. Rajan and Gautan became like family. We played card games, told stories, shared laughs, and had had great time together. I felt fortunate to have them during our trek and now consider them to be close friends.

In May 2019, I organized solo trek to Makalu Base Camp and again 4th time used the services of the Nepal Trekking Experts. The less explored and challenging trekking route required a lot of effort due to bad weather. However with an enormous help of the Nepal Trekking Experts, the trek did not affected. While the agency owner Rajesh keep checking weather forecast and updating us and providing us professional advice, we had more confident and positive. Without their massif help the trip won't be possible. You will never regret choosing them for your adventure in Nepal and for sure I am using their service soon

Due to our relatively tight timeframe in wanting to do both the Annapurna Circuit and Upper Mustang, we contacted several agencies by email to have them assess how realistic our itinerary was. Communication with Raj was a standout from the rest, extremely clear, professional, responsive and understanding of our needs.

We set off with our guide Mohan for the next 2 weeks who was very attentive, upbeat, knowledgeable and made sure our whole expedition went smoothly and was able to accommodate a lot of flexibility into our trek. Highly recommended Nepal Trekking Experts and will be using them again when we visit Nepal in the near future!

On the trail, our guide Thakur was knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the Hindu and Buddhist culture.

We encountered a medical issue after 15 days and Rajesh arranged the evacuation of my friend very quickly. We were all very worried but it all went very smoothly thanks to him.

I can highly recommend to choose Rajesh and his amazing team for doing a trekking in the beautiful Himalaya's of Nepal. First of all, Rajesh provide great service and is he really helped me with my stay in Nepal. He also provides me really helpful information, advices and an itinerary for several trekking and my stay in Nepal in general. He always welcomes you into their office with a drink and a smile! Last February I did the Mardi Himal trek, with my friend and guide Thakur. I can only say the best things about Thakur, and once again: thank you so much for this great experience and doing such an amazing job being our guide! Before I did Mardi Himal, I did two trekkings without a guide, but I can highly recommend to go with a guide! We faced a lot of snow during the trek and Thakur had a lot of knowledge about the weather(forecast) and different circumstances because of snow. I felt really safe all the time. Thakur had a really positive attitude, is really knowledgeable and respectful, fit and helpful and was really willing to answer all our questions on mountains and trekking, but also about Nepal and the Nepali culture and his life in Nepal. What deserves a special mention was the first aid skills of Thakur. When I twisted my ankle very badly, he had a full first aid kit in his backpack and he was able to treat my ankle in a way that I was able to continue on with the trek. I'm really grateful for this! So, I had a very good experience with this agency and the capable staffmembers and I can higly recommend to choose this agency for your trekking in Nepal. Rajesh and his brother Rabin are a great team and organized our amazing 10 days trekking in the Kopra Dhanda region. We decided to do the Kopra Dhanda trek as it is far less crowded compared to the Annapurna circuit but has the same beautiful view on the highest mountains of earth. Before going to Nepal, we had a constant email contact with Rajesh, who took care of all the permissions, transportations and accomodations. This safed a lot of time for us and we can definitely recommend to do it in this way. Rabin was our guide during the trek. He was always there for us, told us interesting facts about the nature and culture over there, was always flexible to meet our needs and enabled this unforgettable experience. We (4 persons) decided to go for one porter (Guna) which was definitely the right decision. Guna is a warm-hearted person and passionated card player and took parts of our stuff, depending on our respective daily condition. From breakfast to dinner (including fresh fruits as dessert), Guna and Rabin took care of our physical well-being and after a few days and many card games in the evening it really felt like spending time with two new friends.

Initially the three passes trip was planned. Due to unforeseen plan changes on my side I had to shorten the trip which was no problem at all. Rajesh was incredibly helpful highlighting other options for 13 days I could choose from. I decided on Langtang from Syabrubesi followed by the Gosaikund trek. As a single female traveler I fully trusted the judgement of my brother who recommended Resham as reliable, caring porter guide. So Resham and me set out by jeep to avoid the crowded bumpy bus ride and arrived after 7h in Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. After 20 min I realised I had forgotten a small bag with essential personal items in the car. Resham immediately called the jeep driver, who was already on his way back to Kathmandu, he found the bag and arranged it to be transported back to us immediately. The next day the trek started. Pace was always matched to my abilities, I could say whenever I needed or did not need a break in the plenty tea houses on the way. At no time I felt not well catered for. Resham carried the bulk of my backpack contents in a supplied bag and always checked whether the remaining load for me was not too heavy (rain stuff + water only). He assured that any meals I ordered were prepared fresh, ready at the agreed breakfast/dinner time and checked the kitchen himself to make sure everything was in order. While there was a rough trail schedule we were flexible to stop earlier or to keep on going longer to the next good tea house if I felt like it. The trek to Langtang was always along the Langtang river, passing incredible scenery, shocking landslides from the earthquake, through pastures with cows, yaks and their interbreeded version. Resham was excellent in spotting monkeys in the forest, mountain goats and naming the peaks of the mountains we saw. The trek until the lovely village of Kyanjin Gumba and up to Kanjin Ri was worth every step of it. I will never forget the view of the Tibetan glaciers from Kyanjin Ri (4400 m). To get to the Gosaikund trek it was only 1 day going back the route we came and then we already turned to Thulo Syabru. From there the trek steadily increased to Goisaikund (4380 m) passing blossoming Rhododendrons with views of the mountains getting better every day. Due to clouds in the afternoon we set out early to arrive safely after a good lunch of Dal Bhat at the destination of the day. We were lucky it snowed the day before going to Gosaikund, so the peaks were snow covered and formed a startling contrast to the many “kundas” = lakes around. We slowly reached Lauribina Pass (4600 m) and then happily walked downhill again through the clouds and some fields of snow. At all difficult passages Resham was particularly caring, giving advice how best to proceed and to stay safe. He had the incredible ability to judge the exact remaining time to the next tea house when asked so I could decide whether to take extra breaks before arrival. The trek ended in Sudarijal from where it was only a short car ride back to Kathmandu. I am very thankful for this excellently organised, mesmerising experience. Instead of trekking alone I had a cheerful and reliable companion who at all times took very good care of me and made this trek even more enjoyable than it would have been amidst the stunning nature of Nepal.

We went 17 days trek and it was greatest hike ever. Special thanks belongs to Nepal Trekkings Experts guys. Thanks to them we were able just to enjoy this beautiful piece of Nepal. Even the trip was quite long and challenging, our guide (Saroj) took care about logistic and helped us to go trough it very smoothly. So only limits was our own condition. Without Saroj we would never be able to enjoy it so much, because he as local opened a lot of doors and explain to us all mysteries of this beautiful place. It was really like to travel with local friend. The approach of Nepal Trekking Experts was brilliant. Only rarely you can find such friendly and helpful people not focused only to business, but to client experience. Thank you guys for your superb services once more.
