Would recommend, excellent family run business
We did the ABC trek in sept 2023 and had a great time. Rajesh was very easy to communicate with over email and in person and answered all queries. Our guide Rajan, and porters Gautam and Santos were very professional and great people to spend 10 days with. From airport pick up, hotel, welcome dinner, and the trek it self, everything was a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend to others and book with them in the future. Thank you so much!!
Amy ACanadaNov 17, 2023Great Trekking guide to EBC
Nepal Trekking Experts took good care of me, had an excellent guide, Upendra Rai, and reserved good lodging and meals throughout the trek to EBC and in Kathmandu at Hotel Thamel Park. Upendra pointed out wildlife, took time for photos, explained cultures, and kept me safe and on schedule, I highly recommend them!

From the very start of our research into a trek to suit us we have been supported by Rajesh and his team. All our questions were answered quickly and clearly. Once we were in Kathmandu Rajesh made sure everything ran smoothly. Once on the trek Lok and Santosh took over. They were amazing. They took care of everything we needed and made sure that everyone was ok. The Tsum Valley was stunning. As we made our way to the high pass Lok kept an eye on us all to make sure we were ok. We all got there together and celebrated.
The food and accommodation were both good except for the final high camp which was crowded and cold. Can’t be helped. Transport to and from the trekking area was good, but the roads are challenging! We had great drivers. We had wall to wall sunshine and no wind. My highlights were the stunning views, relaxed lunches and stops at tea house most days. The monasteries (especially in the Tsum Valley) we very special.Vony GUnited KingdomNov 12, 2023Wonderful Poon Hill and ABC trek
We just finished the 10 days Poon Hill and ABC trek with Nepal Trekking Experts. We were a couple with guide Amit and porteur Dilli, both are experimented and nice guys and they made our trek wonderful. Apart from being an experimented trekking guide, Amit loves to talk about the Nepal culture and way of life , and made our trek very interesting. Everyday, he made a video of our trek and that is the best souvenir we could get, thanks again for that wonderful Idea.
Thanks to our porteur Dilli the trek was easy, it would not be the same affair if we had to carry the big backpack. Everyday he brought us a plate of cut apples and bananas he carrried from Pokhara.
The global organisation by Radesh is great, you have nothing to take care (hotel, transfers, good sleeping bags...). Also do not hesitate to ask for modifications on the initial program, they will adapt on your requests and always answer quickly.
Their prices are also very competitive.
So if you plan a trek in Nepal you can choose this team whithout hesitation .Christiane PFranceNov 12, 2023Manaslu Circuit Trek
We would highly recommend Rajesh and Nepal Trekking Experts From initial enquiry six months ago, to the completion of the trek, we as a family of four adults had a great time! Thorough planning from start to finish, a fantastic guide in Basanta and wonderful porters Anis and Boupindra made for a trek of a lifetime. Manaslu is a beautiful circuit and Rajesh’s knowledge of the area is second to none We felt safe and supported throughout and stayed in some great places. An unforgettable experience for us with lifetime memories. Thanks to Rajesh for the detailed swift reponses, organising airport pickup , accommodation in Kathmandu and transfer of luggage to Pokhara. Also a great kit list and good kit advice .
ForShackUnited KingdomNov 11, 2023Everest Base Camp Trek finally checked off my bucket list!!
The Everest Base Camp Trek has been on my list since I was in High School. I'm currently 51 years old. My father did this trek in 1972, before the Khumbu region was the popular tourist destination it is today. So, I've had lots of pictures to look at over the years. I found Nepal Trekking Experts in 2020, when I did some research & almost booked the trip then, but the person I was going with, backed out.
Fast forward to February 2023, my current GF said she was in. So, we booked very early in 2023 for the last 2 weeks in October 2023. Booking early is beneficial since Rajesh, the company owner, can book the earliest flights to & from Lukla & get the best teahouse rooms (if you opt for an attached bathroom).
Communication prior to the trip was excellent & Rajesh answered all of my questions & informed me of stuff I didn't know about. So, when we arrived in Kathmandu, we knew the procedure & where to meet our contact Rabin, at the airport. We checked into our hotel, settled in & met up with Rajesh later & he told us about the trek & made sure we had all the proper gear. We brought all our own gear, so we didn't need to rent any equipment. They did supply a duffel bag for each of us that our porter Bijaya carried. Our guide Prakash was excellent. He spoke very good English too. Very knowledgeable & kind. He tended to our every needs & then some! He was great at the teahouses & was on top of all our meals & whatever else we needed. He told us about the regions we were in, mountain names and any other relevant information. Since it was just the 2 of us, we hiked at our own pace & Prakash looked after both of us. Bijaya our porter usually went on ahead & checked us into our room. So, when we arrived at our destination, we were all set. The trek itself is beautiful every step of the way, but you have to put in the work to get to the next stop. The hills are steep, but if you take your time, they are manageable. We had extra days in Namche & Dingboche to acclimatize. By the time we made it to Gorak Shep, I was feeling great, but my GF was having symptoms from the altitude. Her pulse ox was low & not much energy. She told me to go to base camp & come back. Prakash stayed with her & Bijaya & I went to base camp. I made it to base camp finally & was thrilled to finally make it there after all these years!! The weather for this day & the rest of the trip was perfect. The mountains wanted to be seen, especially Ama Dablam. Such a beautiful mountain. It dominates the trek for several days. We ended up having to take a helicopter down but could only get one the next morning leaving out of Lobuche. Prakash arranged 2 horses to take us back down from Gorak Shep. So, we crossed the Khumbu Glacier in the dark on horseback. That was an experience & something we never imagined doing! Prakash & Rajesh had managed to arrange the helicopter rides for the next day.
We made it back to Kathmandu & all was well. We had Rajesh book us the rest of the trip at the Ramada Encore (very nice luxury) & we spent the rest of our trip exploring the different areas of Kathmandu. The trip was excellent & if we come back to do some more trekking, we will book with Nepal Trekking Experts again!!SpiderbluesUnited StatesNov 08, 2023Everest Base Camp Trek finally checked off my bucket list!!
