Many thanks to Resham our guide, Shiva our porter and Rajesh from Nepal Trekking Experts for our very well-organized trekking tour around Manaslu. Rajesh, the manager of Nepal Trekking Experts, organized our trip in advance and then also in Kathmandu with our special requests, such as the subsequent visit to Chitwan NP, very professionally and responded to our wishes and always gave us good advice. His experience and motivation were always very convincing right up to our departure.

On our trekking tour, we had a very experienced, friendly, always motivated and helpful guide at our side in Resham. Resham has a lot of experience as a guide and always organized good accommodation and a very good room for us. For example, he convinced us to stay in Shyala instead of Lho, as we had originally planned, because the sunrise with Manaslu would be fantastic there. And it was true, the view in the early morning from the roof of the guesthouse was overwhelming. The overnight stay in Larkya Bazar instead of Samdo was also perfect, as the sun shone much longer in the afternoon and we were able to relax and enjoy the warmth. He always guided us safely through the flora and fauna and explained a lot about Nepal, the country and its people in his very good English. Our porter Shiva was also very friendly and helpful and without him we would not have made it with all our luggage. Both of them always took perfect care of our meals and drink requests and we are very happy that we had met them.

In summary, our tour was a great and unique experience for us! We would definitely choose Nepal Trekking Experts again next time for the organization and implementation. And we would definitely choose Resham Neupane as our guide again, because he really guided us perfectly on the trek.

In Kathmandu I met the other people of my group. 3 other solo travelers. We had the best time, since we were doing the trek in a small group. Our guide Rajan was very funny and he could tell everything about the Manaslu and Tsum Valley area. You could see he really is an expert in guiding and knew his way around.
Rajesh was also very helpfull during my whole stay in Nepal (1,5 month). He also helped me out with sending a bag home to the Netherlands from Nepal, since I would continue traveling to other countries.
I loved the trek! I can really recommend to do the Manaslu & Tsum Valley trek, because it’s not that well known and especially Tsum Valley is not that touristy. This amazing experience really made me wanting to come back to Nepal and discover more of it’s beautiful nature and incredible culture!

My experience with Nepal Trekking Experts was phenomenonal. From start to finish the professionalism, care and support shown by the team was fantastic and added to the trekking experience.
I completed the three high passes with EBC trek and was guided by Basanta Devkota. I cannot speak highly enough of Basanta. His ability to make decisions on fly, adaptiveness, support and care is exceptional. He is really passionate about what he does and the environment he is in which comes out with the knowledge he has about the trek. Very strong English speaking which aids in his ability to build relationships with the people around him. Basanta became more than a guide to the group, he has become a great friend. There is no doubt if I come back Nepal I will be requesting Basanta. Can't recommend him highly enough!

We returned home very satisfied with the progress of the entire visit to Nepal. Nepal trekking experts are real experts not only in high mountain tourism, but also in the perfect organization of visitors' stay in their country. Thank you for catering to all our requirements beyond their internet offering. We thank their capable and friendly team that took care of us on the trek (mountain guide Dinesh and porters Mom and Thakur) and we thank the management of the agency for its seriousness and impeccable organizational work.

This was my second trip to Nepal organized by Nepal Trekking Experts. In 2017, I completed the Manaslu Circuit Trek and never considered booking with another company when returning for EBC. Rajesh is responsive, professional, and attentive to detail. He's also an incredibly kind and genuine person that truly cares about his customers, and has a special talet for assembling groups that mesh well. He will go above and beyond to ensure you feel cared for and have a successful trip.

Our guide, Dinesh, and assistant guide/porter Chandra, were also exceptional. Easy going companions with lots of stories and information to share. They have decades experience guiding in the Everest region, and seem to know everyone along the way. Our planned iterinary changed several times, and they capably adapted and made sure we were able to stay in the most comfortable lodges.

Nepal Trekking Experts has an experienced team, and we were so fortunate to have them on our side when things did not go as planned. We were delayed due to weather and then my partner had to be evacuated due to illness, and both times we needed to unexpectedly book a helicopter and Raj made it happen. Dinesh helped us get access to medical care (the staff of the Mountain Medical Institute in Dingboche are so wonderful) and never left our side during the whole process.

Nepal is a special place, the trekking is difficult but so worthwhile. You can trust Nepal Trekking Experts to provide you with the experience of a lifetime! I can't wait to go back and book another trip with them.

Two friends and myself recently completed a stunning, but hard, customised 18 days trek to Phu and Naar, Himlung Base Camp, Kang La, Ice Lake, Tilicho Lake and Thorong La. This was my third time using the services of Nepal Trekking Experts and Rajesh made all the arrangements with his usual supreme organisational skills and efficiency. Rajesh is a mine of information and as usual provided rapid responses to our questions before the trek. A special mention must go to our guide Resham and our 2 porters Shiva and Dili. Resham was friendly, diligent, patient and very capable and was always concerned with our welfare. After all, this was most definitely not an easy trek! He also provided excellent advice concerning the itinerary for the last few days which were not finalised before starting the trek. Shiva and Dili were delightful company and were an integral part of our team - the trek would not have been such a success without them. I continue to highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to anyone who is planning a trek in Nepal - you won’t regret your decision.

I completed the Manaslu Circuit & Tsum Valley Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts in October. It was an incredible experience, very difficult but rewarding. Nepal Trekking experts did a fantastic job communicating before our trip and had all of the details worked out for when we arrived. Our Guide Kadar had over 25 years experience and knew how to deal with everything issue that came up while in the mountains! I can't wait to get an opportunity to get back to Nepal on another adventure and will be booking with Nepal Trekking Experts!

Outstanding experience with Nepal Trekking Experts. I contacted Rajesh early on while planning a two month trip through South Asia. He was one of the most responsive travel professionals I’ve ever dealt with. There are an overwhelming number of options when you’re thinking about trekking in Nepal. You can’t go wrong with Rajesh and his team.

I spent three weeks on the Manaslu Circuit/Tsum Valley trek. Not quite undiscovered, but the Tsum Valley in particular still feels fairly remote. Our guide Lok and assistant guide/porter/TikTok star Santosh were experienced, informative, and great trekking companions. When it was going to be a strenuous hiking day, Lok let you know - straight up. “Today will be hard.” When one of our group got hit with altitude sickness, Lok took immediate and decisive control and organized evac. I also appreciated that both Lok and Santosh shared their personal stories and insights into the communities along the trail - the experience expanded to become so much more than hiking and alpine views.
