we just finished the wonderful trek of Manaslu circuit, in the hands of a very competent compagny,NEPAL TREKKING EXPERTS. from the beguinning the communication was perfect and very professional with Rajesh, the owner of the compagny. we had to postponed the trip last november du to covid, but it was no problem. we were alowed to change the dates with no pressure . the team was at the airport to greet us and take us to our hotel and then we had a briefing with Rajesh who introduced us to our guide, LOK.
RAJESH invited us for diner which was quite nice of him. we discussed the trek and the itinary we requested.
our guide , LOK and guide porter SANTOS, were extremely professionals, adapting there pace to our slow pace with no pressiure. LOK is a very gentle man, very calm, with loads of experience, and take the right decisions at the opportun moment. we always felt safe with him , which alowed us to rely on him constantly and concentrate on the trek. SANTOS, a yound 31 years old man, who is learning to be a guide, was always waiting for us, always smiling, and taking part of the conversation. he was as well very competent and the team LOK,, SANTOS, worked splendidly.
when things got tougher because of bad weather, snow, and extrem cold I still had complete confidence in them. on the way done from the Larkaya Pass I sprained mh ankle with the crampons and they handle the issue with great self control with no panic . we waited for the rescue party . Santos went down to village to fetch porters to take me down as helico cojld not land due to bad weather. LOK stayed with us putting his life in danger of hypothermia waiting 9 hours in freezing minus 13 degrees, with us. when we arrived back in Katmandu, Rajesh visited me at the clinic where I stayed 24 hrs it was very nice of him.
I would recommend this compagny as well as our guide Lok and guide porter Santos for any trek.
we had a great experience and Manaslu circuit is a wonderful part of the world.
I recommand the side trips like Serang Gumpa, and puygen gumpa.
the culture is amazing. and well worth lear ing about.
i recommand to take a satallite phone or a gps tracker in case of emergency.

Trekking company was very organised and a fair price for the langtang valley trek. Would highly recommend. They made me feel at ease by meeting up with them the day before the hike to meet the guide, the owner and they went thoroughly through the itenary and stuff to bring on the trek.

The guide, Rajan, was excellent throughout and spoke really good English. He explained the history of langtang valley and knew the routes well. I was really great to go an alternative way back to the usual route so we didn't go back on the same path for too long ar langtang valley. He was patient and the food to be included along with a coffee each morning and fruit in the evening was a really nice freebie to be added in. I was the only one from the groups to be offered this and the only one to have fruit each evening which was nice. The guide also carried a first aid kit with him, just incase something went wrong which is always re-assuring.

Overall the experience was amazing, the viewpoint at langtang valley was breathtaking and would highly recommend this company.

These guys are true professionals. Can't speak highly enough of their attention to detail, flexibility, help, and overall service. You may find a little cheaper, but IF you do, it will come at a compromise that will not be worth any small saving. Prakash, my guide, went above and beyond every single day, including adapting to my constant changes of plan. Raj (the owner, and an ex guide himself) gives a personal experience from the first contact, even personally taking me to the bus station at 6.30am for a bus I had booked to Pokhara (and lucky he did as the bus had not come). The entire team is focused on customer satisfaction and experience before profit, including a host of little 'extras'. Do not think twice... If you are reading this review, you have found the trekking agency you are looking for.

This has to be up there with one of the best adventures that I have experienced.
I arrived in Kathmandu in early December and was met by Resham (who would be my guide for the duration of the trek). I was taken to my comfortable accommodation in Thamel and then briefed by Rejesh (Owner of Nepal Trekking Experts) about my trip and any potential changes that I wanted to make. From the outset Rajesh made me feel welcome and looked after.
I departed for Bhulbhule the next morning by bus and this is where the adventure began. The walks were both tough and challenging and we covered good distance in the first few days. Resham was always on hand to ensure things ran smoothly – from arranging buses to the accommodation side of things, as well as sourcing the best Dal Bhat in the area! I enjoyed his attention to detail and he went out of his way to ensure that I was comfortable. His level of English was very good – he has a strong work ethic and is just generally a nice, family man.

Resham really did go out of his way on Day 9. It was supposed to be a rest day, but instead we decided to hike to Ice Lake - from Manang. It was arguably the highlight of my trek and the views were breath-taking. The hike also allowed me to gauge the impacts (if any) of mountain sickness. Thankfully, I experienced none.

All in all, it was an excellent trip. It was an accomplishment to get over the Thorong La pass – something I had dreamt of doing in years. I would definitely use Nepal Trekking Experts again and I look forward to my next adventure with Resham.

What an amazing trek in the mountains with the nepal trekking expert team Group! we are a friends of 4 and our guide Reshan dai and kishor dai did such a wonderful care of us. they brought us such a memorable experience that had a safety focus which we appreciated. Reshan Dai was a patient and informative guide, showing us the wonders of the trek from kharikhola to Everest Base Camp and pointing us nuances and subtleties along the way that we would never have noticed without an experienced and caring guide. Kishor dai carried our baggage and shared his experiences and family stories, we were so grateful for their presence and hard work.Rajesh sir organized and managed the challenges of domestic flights despite complicated weather.and even after return to Kathmandu rajesh dai he continued to support us and had a wonderful dinner night in thamel.
We'd highly recommend the services of Nepal trekking expert team to anyone coming to the area and hope to return next year to hike some more mountains with them.🤘

Our choice was Manaslu Cicruit Trek via Upper Route. We started from Barpak and via Larpak village via Singla Pass. I think we encountered fewer hikers on this trail compared to the main trail. The daily plans were well planned by the service provider. Accommodations were planned in naturally beautiful places. One moment only, my suggestion, that it would have been nice, if the day after Larya La pass day, the last hiking day had been planned for two days. For older hikers, two days in a row of high descents can be difficult. Our guide and porters were caring, attnetive and friendly.

We - a group of 12 - had an excellent experience trekking around Manaslu in October 2022 organized by Nepal Trekking Experts.
We were very well taken care of throughout our stay in Nepal.
The organizers met our group in the airport and transfered us to our hotel, helped us with the currency exchange and last-minute gear additions, briefed us throughly and even found us another porter last minute before heading out to the trek.

The activities and lodgings were well thought out and organized during the trek. Each evening, Rajesh gave us an overview of what to expect during the next day. Our group had people with quite different ages and physical capabilities - some wanted to hike around and see as much as possible, others had somewhat harder time and needed more downtime and rest. Rajesh planned our days so that everyone in our group was happy - we had rest days with several options for day hikes planned in. Also, our porters were incredibly helpful, on harder parts of the trek they sped ahead of our group to drop off their packs and came back to help the most tired ones by carrying their backbacks. And showed us some great dance moves during rest stops :D

What impressed me the most was the skill and knowledge of our guides and porters - in the middle of our trek, we started encountering groups coming back, telling us that there is a unpassable landslide ahead and that we should turn back. But Rajesh made a couple of calls and said that one of their guides already passed that part and we can continue, and so we did! We used an old road only the locals knew about to pass the landslide section, it took us several hours on rarely used small paths and was the most awesome trekking experience of my life!

Thanks to Rajesh and his crew, every member of our group made it happily over the Larkya pass in good health and great mood.

After we had finished our trek, our guides organized us a lovely farewell dinner with traditional Nepali singers and dancers.

I highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to everyone planning a trip to the Himalayas - they will take excellent care of you and will give you the best trekking experience you could ever wish for.

As a final cherry on top, I forgot my e-reader to a tea house somewhere in the middle of the trek and only realized it was gone a couple of days later. And Rajesh personally organized it safely back to me almost to the other side of the world... I am deeply moved and thankful about the care he (and his whole crew) gave us.

The trip was amazing. Everything was arranged by the agency, hotels, transfers, meals and accommodation during the trek (they picked the best places) except in Gorak shep, where there was only one hotel open since they arranged a solo trek for me in winter season (Everest Inn, which was bad), but everything worked out for the best and we made the trek. I'm pretty sure the company didn't make any money, I did like that since the owner wanted more to make everybody else get their payments like guide and porter etc...
The only bad point, which was a misunderstanding is that I had to pay extra for the porter since it was not included in the initial price and they had to rent out a helicopter to go down just for me (I did 8 days heli out trek) which is expensiv.
The trip price was 1890 USD including everything I just had to pay my flight to Kathmandu. And big thanks to Thakur my guide and Abishek my porter, both great guys. Don't hesitate to ask for them.
