    Amazing Experience

Hi, we (group of 8) did the EBC trek with Rajesh and it was an amazing experience. The trek in itself is amazing but with an host like Rajesh, it becomes all the more memorable. Right from the beginning - Rajesh has been available to discuss and explains the various parts of the trek (small and big) to help us make the decisions & properly plan & prepare for the trek. And on the trek, everything was meticulously planned and taken care of from experienced guide, porters, support team, food places, tea houses, stay arrangements, etc. Special mention for our guide Prakash - he really made the experience rich ... would love to have him as guide on all treks :-)

Overall, Rajesh and team is highly professional and our safety and experience was of prime importance to them. Thanks for a memorable trek Nepal Trekking - look forward to the next one.

    Gokyo trek

निर्भयी भव:| (Be fearless) is a very serene blessing we all seek from our elders in the Indian culture. My wife Saritha & I had a chance to experience it last week when the Himalaya blessed us. The ‘Gokyo Trek’ in Himalaya is a 5000m+ climb. The nature's display of green jungle, freshwater gushing, world’s top mountain tips front of us (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu), heavy snow, winds spouting… We could not ask for any better larger than life portrait. One of the best life experiences.
The full credit of this great experience to Rabin & Rajesh. Rabin was our tour guide and companion. Rajesh organized everything perfect and especially some of the facilities in the rough weather conditions.

Excellent experience! Highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts, Rajesh Neupane (Director) and Resham Neupane (our guide)

Overall my impression is that Nepal Trekking Experts is really focused on a great customer experience and they deliver that. The company was recommended to us by friends who have been repeat clients and through our experience understand why the company has a very high customer retention rate. Highly recommend! We'll be back :)

    The Trek:
A friend and I did the Manaslu circuit + Tsum valley trek over 18 days in the second half of April. It was an amazing experience! Interacting with locals at Chumling village, visiting Gompa Lungdang, sunrise at Shyala, the hike to Pungen Gompa after fresh snowfall, Larke La pass day are some of my favorite memories from this trek. There was a bit of haze at lower elevations but that cleared up as we got higher up and fortunately for us the weather gods were kind and we were treated to amazing views. We got to spot Himalayan Thar, Blue sheep (Bharal), Himalayan Pika, Marmots and on a couple of occasions saw signs (scat, pug marks) of a snow leopard.

    Nepal Trekking Experts:
The director Rajesh was very easy to work with, prompt in communication, flexible and accommodating of our requests. Less than a week before our trek one of us faced uncertainty because of a family health issue, casting a doubt over whether we could make the trip. In this time Rajesh was very supportive and let us figure things out while delaying permits and any other non-refundable expenditures as late as possible to give us flexibility. Fortunately in the end we were able to both travel as planned. Rajesh was very hospitable on our arrival in Kathmandu and helped us with last min purchase of microspikes (something that he insisted we carry and that we were grateful for having on the Larke pass crossing day due to unseasonal heavy snow).

    Our Guide, Resham:
On a long trek like this one spends a lot of time with their guide and we were fortunate to have Resham. He is friendly, communicates well in English and Hindi and knows this area very well. He quickly determined our trekking style and personal preferences and diligently made efforts to make our experience more enjoyable. For example when possible he called ahead to hotels we would be staying at and requested the room which had the best views. One morning he woke us up at 5am because after hours of snowfall the previous night the skies had completely cleared overnight giving us magical pre-dawn views of Manaslu and Ngadi Chuli from our hotel, and he knew we would want to be up to see that. Additionally, Resham allowed us to keep things flexible and this let us make tweaks based on weather and how we were feeling. During the trek I was having some discomfort carrying my backpack and wanted a few days without the pack. He was able to find a porter and make arrangements for my bag to be taken further ahead to a hotel we would eventually get to a few days later. His network of contacts in the area and their trust in him ensured that this happened seamlessly. For example we paid the porter 50% upfront and the hotel owner paid the balance after the bag was received. This wouldn't have been possible without Resham's network and the goodwill he had built in the community.

    Would highly recommend!

    May 2023

I did Annapurna Circuit as a solo traveller through Nepal Trekking Experts. I organised through the owner, Rajesh, over email a few weeks before I arrived and he was very accommodating to my requirements and gave a very fair price.

I was recommended this company by someone I spoke to on a trekking forum and it did not disappoint! As you can see they have an exceptional reputation.

My guide was Thakur and he was fantastic. Of all the guides we met along the way, he struck me as the most professional and knowledgeable of them all and put my safety as the top priority. His English was also great, and he was very friendly!

Overall would highly recommend you to go with Nepal Trekking Experts :)

    Amazing experience

    May 2023

My partner and I completed the Manaslu Circuit trek from mid to end of May 2023. We initially reached out to Raj (the owner) via WhatsApp while still traveling abroad around Asia. After arriving in Kathmandu, we spoke to several tour companies, including Nepal Trekking Experts. We instantly felt at ease with Raj and knew he was the best company for us. He even had the cheapest price out of all the companies we spoke to. Raj also provided sleeping bags, down jackets and poles free of charge.
The trek itself was absolutely magnificent. It's less explored than the other treks and is much quieter, we hardly bumped into any other tourists at all. Binod our guide was very experienced, kind and considerate. He knew the mountains well and we always felt safe with him. Binod took us to the best teahouses and restaurants for dinner, and always made an effort to make sure our rooms were clean with blankets and that the food in the kitchen was fresh. He took really good care of us and he gave us confidence to successfully complete the pass, despite the amount of snow. Our porter Utam was always kind and helping us out. The scenery is so vast on this trek and you get to experience so many wonders of Nepal as you hike up towards the Tibetan border. It wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be. Some days are long, but you do still have plenty of time to relax on other days. I highly recommend you book the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal trekking experts. You won't regret it!

    Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho lake

    May 2023 • Solo

I want to thank Rajesh for arranging the Annapurna circuit with Tilicho lake trip and Dinesh for guiding me as a solo traveller.

My private trip was taylor made to fit into my itinerary in Nepal. Everything was organized well, the communication was prompt from the beginning, so I was sure that I've chosen the right operator.

Trekking around the Annapurna range was excellent, and thanks to Dinesh, it was safe, enjoyable and fun. We talked about nature, culture, and life in Nepal. I really appreciate his effort to make my trip memorable!

    Top Class Company

    May 2023 • Solo

It was my fourth trek with Nepal Trekking Experts and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Look no further if you’re researching for your next Himalayan adventure.
I felt so supported and well cared for throughout the whole experience.

Ganesh was my guide and I can’t imagine heading into the mountains with anyone else. He is patient, knowledgeable, professional and a delight to have around.

The entire team are so good at what they do. Everyone in the office is unbelievably helpful and the guides and porters work so damn hard to give you the best possible experience. They deserve a daily standing ovation 👏

    Logistics:
We trekked to Poon Hill and ABC May 18-28th, which is right at the end of the trekking season, heading into monsoon season. We got a little bit of rain and clouds but it was well worth it when the clouds parted for some stunning views of Annapurna.

You’ll be provided with a clean sleeping bag and puffy jacket if needed from Nepal Trekking Experts but you’ll need to have your own rain gear sorted if your trekking close to monsoon season. There are tons of shops in Kathmandu or Pokhara to buy/rent whatever gear you need. I think it’s nice to plan to buy in Nepal to support their economy.

The teahouses are simple but cozy and the food is always delicious. I recommend getting dal bhat, the traditional Nepali dish which locals eat every day for lunch and dinner.

This hike includes lush jungle, rocky alpine, waterfalls and rivers, monkeys and birds, and a culturally immersive experience with the beautiful Nepali people.

Thank you Rajesh, Ganesh and team for the best experiences of my life… I’ll be back! :)
