This was my second trip with Nepal Trekking Experts and I was fully satisfied with this trip. Our guide, Rajan was so incredibly attentive and kind. As I was slower than the rest of the trekkers I was well behind the group most of the time. Rajan always watched for me and made sure I was safe and comfortable. Our accommodations were always great and the trek was fantastic. If you are looking for the right company to book you trek with, stop now and book with Nepal Trekking Experts. You will not be disappointed!!

We did Annapurna base camp (10 days) and was so so good (very amateur hiker but this was doable!)
Dinesh was our guide and was so amazing!! We had a porter, Chwang who carried our packs and he was also the best!! Couldn’t have done it without either of them and hold them both in the highest praise!
Overall was the most amazing trip and can’t express how much I would recommend this amazing company!

No need to look any further - book your trek this team. Rajesh (who leads the team) first and foremost is just a really nice guy. He was always responsive on communication and very helpful in thinking through different options, itineraries and helping out with gear questions. He'll also go above and beyond to make you feel welcome - e.g. he took me out for dinner on my first night in Kathmandu.

On the trek, my guide Ganesh was fantastic. He is super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He is always happy to tweak the itinerary, take photos and just make sure you have the best experience possible. Perhaps no better example of customer experience than him helping me to bed when altitude sickness got the better of me!

I have used Rajesh (Nepal Trekking Experts) for the last three of my trips to Nepal (2017, 2021 and 2023). Together we have completed Manaslu and the Tsum Valley, Kanchenjunga and more recently the Three Passes trek in the Everest Region. In that time Raj and the wider Nepal Experts team have become more than acquaintances; they have become friends.

I cannot recommend this agency enough. Each time I visit the service gets better. For example, the hotel offering in Kathmandu has massively improved since 2017. Raj is always available on WhatsApp and he balances service with opinion very well I.e. he wants to ensure you have a great experience but he’s not afraid to make recommendations if he feels the need to. Too many agencies are deferential to the client without actually thinking about what is best for them. Raj is that rare breed; he is both.

As for our guide Basanta, what a fine human being this man is. And what a friend he has since become after 15-days together slogging up and down passes at 5,500m. “Bu” as we called him catered to our every whim and having him guide us was particularly reassuring during the snowfall we experienced for several days. He knows the Everest region backwards and all his suggestions and comments - from the weather forecast to the difficulty / technicality - were spot on. We were well prepared for whatever the trail threw at us. But more than that, Bu had the decency of character to revel in the banter that we brought and to participate in it. So much so that other trekkers thought he was one of ‘us’ rather than a guide just because of the dynamic that existed between the group.

I was sad to leave Nepal after the three passes. Something magical happened on that trip and it will go down as one of the best travel experiences of my life (and I’ve been fortunate to have a few!)

I will be back to conquer Upper Dolpo and Dhaulagiri!

My experience with Nepal Trekking Experts was nothing short of amazing, I am still in awe of how well planned and executed the trip was.

The opportunity for me to take a trip to Nepal came at the very last minute, so while I was thankful, I was also very anxious about getting everything booked. There are so many trekking companies that choosing one can be very daunting. I came across a very emphatic recommendation for Nepal Trekking Experts and decided to reach out to them. This was about three days before I was set to depart. So I sent a WhatsApp to Rajesh, the owner-operator, and he responded immediately. He entertained my many questions and was very patient with me, and within a day had provided me with a thorough itinerary that accounted for all my preferences.

Everything went phenomenally and no detail was overlooked. Airport pickup was very smooth, which was a relief after a 42 hour travel day. The hotel they partner with was amazing, and the staff there know Rajesh and his team well. I opted to hire a jeep to the go to the trailhead and the driver they supplied was awesome. Most importantly, my guide Kritam and porter Anish were knowledgeable, friendly, and hard-working. I was so happy to spend my time in the mountains with them. Even when I extended my stay in KTM by two days Rajesh was always available to help communicate with the hotel directly so I would get the better rate. When I was purchasing souvenirs he walked me to the stores that would give me the best deals and had authentic items.

I could go on and on and write a thousand more words about this great company, but the important takeaway here is that you should not hesitate to book your trip with Nepal Trekking Experts. I had an amazing time, largely thanks them.

Also, I found the Langtang trek perfect for me. A great mix of culture and mountains, and seemingly much less trafficked than the more popular routes.

My friend and I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek (2 week) tour through Nepal Expert Trekkers and it was amazing!!!! I couldn’t recommend it more.

Rajesh the owner was so friendly and very quick at replying to all our messages prior to the trip. He helped organise lifts to and from the airport, as well as giving us valued information about visas and trekking essentials. It was our first hike so we were very grateful! ☺️

We had a very knowledgeable guide Denish, who was able to give us lots of interesting facts along the hike, whilst giving us briefs each morning before starting the day, he made sure we were well looked after along the whole trip!
We also opted for a porter, Chhwang. He was great so grateful for him I couldn’t have done it without him.

Overall it was an amazing trip with great views and lovely people, I can’t wait to go back and do another trip with Nepal Expert Trekkers.

We would definitely trek with Nepal Trekking Experts again and would recommend them to friends who want to trek in Nepal! The Langtang Valley trek was exactly as advertised, which we really appreciated; moderate difficulty with a route through cultural villages, mix of woodland, jungle and mountains etc.

The accommodation in tea houses along the way was comfortable and clean and the food was simple and delicious. We always felt we got the very best rooms, and the very best service thanks to our wonderful guide Ganesh.

Communication with Nepal Trekking Experts was quick and professional from the very first interaction. We appreciated their willingness to accommodate our wishes to trek just with family.

Our guide Ganesh went above and beyond to ensure we were safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the entire trek (whether it was encouraging us to drink water when we were trekking in the sun, to explaining our day-hike options in great detail so we could make an informed choice). Anyone would be lucky to trek with someone so competent, considerate and good-humoured.
